Here is some commission based work..
Bendy is an off-the-charts introvert and loves peace and complete silence and her own company thoroughly!
So, showcasing her work and life on TV and radio and in the papers is not an entirely comfortable experience! Since she was 1 years old (46 years ago), the media have been wanting interviews and more interviews so therefore, when the The One Show (BBC), Channel 4, Radio 4, UTV, Daily Mail etc... phones or emails, she has to choose very carefully which ones she feels is right at the time.
It's tempting to accept ''all -expenses paid'' 5 star hotel trips to the Far East but I think saying YES every time would probably lead to a Bendy Breakdown of sorts!!:) I have written a blog about the the nerve wracking nerves I go through before any interviews get underway!
Here are a few of my ''YES's'' ..... all the interviews are online somewhere in the abyss of Google!
I use my story to show my art and I use my art to tell my story ....technically.....in a nutshell....
At the end of the day I don't enjoy this type of attention...I'd rather just draw and sell!
